Molgas is an innovative and fast-growing company, making a real impact on decarbonizing transport and industry. Molgas supplies LNG and Bio-LNG to marine, mobility and industrial customers, helping businesses move towards cleaner fuel solutions while meeting their operational energy needs.
Headquartered in Spain and backed by InfraVia, a leading infrastructure investment firm supporting high-growth companies, the Molgas Energy Group delivers clean fuel solutions to shipping, mobility and industrial clients across Europe.
To develop our industrial business, we are looking for an established independent commercial agent with a strong network in Germany. This is an independent, commission-based engagement for someone who enjoys opening doors, understanding complex customer needs and seeing long-term energy supply agreements through to signature.
Role and job environment
You will identify and develop industrial customers that need reliable energy supply, particularly off-grid businesses such as asphalt, glass, steel, chemical and paper plants. You may also pursue opportunities with fuel station operators. Working closely with our commercial and technical colleagues, you will help customers assess whether LNG or Bio-LNG, delivered by truck directly to their site, is a practical fit for their operations, and shape solutions around their demand, site requirements and sustainability goals.
Bio-LNG is gaining strong regulatory momentum in Germany, giving industrial clients a credible route to lower CO2 emissions. You will translate this into a clear business case for each customer.
You will manage relationships from the first conversation through proposal and contract negotiations, bringing in the right specialists for pricing, supply and technical feasibility. The role calls for commercial independence, sound judgment and the ability to build trust with both operational and senior decision-makers.
Description of tasks and responsibilities
- Use your existing network and market knowledge to identify and approach prospective industrial customers and fuel station operators;
- Build relationships with energy buyers, plant managers and technical decision-makers, and understand their current fuel use, operational constraints and future plans;
- Explain the commercial and environmental value of LNG and Bio-LNG in terms relevant to each customer, including GHG quotas and carbon taxation;
- Coordinate with internal teams on demand assessments, site and delivery feasibility (truck-to-industry), supply options and commercial proposals;
- Lead customer discussions and negotiations, progressing opportunities towards long-term supply agreements;
- Maintain a clear view of your pipeline and share market feedback that helps us develop our offering in Germany.
