Job description
We are seeking a Sustainability Data & Compliance Officer to join our growing renewable energy team. This role is central to our biomethane and BioLNG operations, ensuring the accurate and timely management of hundreds of Proofs of Sustainability (PoS) each month. 
PoS documents are critical for demonstrating the environmental credentials, greenhouse gas (GHG) savings, and regulatory compliance of our renewable energy products. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our sustainability reporting process, working closely with both producers and end-customers. 

Key responsibilities 
  • Manage and process Proofs of Sustainability (PoS)for biomethane andBioLNG, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations and certification schemes.
  • Verify data qualityand consistency acrossPoSdocumentation, including feedstock information, GHG calculations, and supply chain traceability.
  • Liaise directly with producers and end customersto collect, review, and reconcile sustainability documentation.
  • Maintain organised recordsof allPoStransactions and ensure documentation isaudit-ready.
  • Monitor regulatory updatesand ensure internal processesremainaligned with the latest sustainability and renewable fuel compliance frameworks (e.g. EU Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and ISCC-EU certification).
  • Support internal teams(trading, compliance, and operations) with sustainability reporting and data analysis.
  • Identifyand resolve discrepanciesin sustainability data or certification detailsin a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvementand automation ofPoSmanagement systems and administrative workflows.
Your profile
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with experience managing large data sets.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal — especially when liaising with clients and supplier s.
  • Comfortable handling both quantitative(data entry, GHG figures) and qualitative(document verification, regulatory interpretation) tasks.
  • A proactive and diligent problem solver with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Strong numerical literacy and ability to interpret environmental and energy-related data.
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or environmental compliance.

You bring:

  • Bachelor degree in an administrative, business, operations, or sustainability-related field.
  • Experience in an administrative, operations, or compliance role (energy or environmental sector is a plus, not required).
  • Familiarity with Proofs of Sustainability, certification schemes, or environmental reporting is advantageous — training will be provided.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, AI tools, and data management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of documentation accurately.
  • Comfortable following structured processes and working with digital platforms.
