Job description

As a junior financial controller you contribute to an accurate and efficient finance process. You make sure the company is in control with invoicing, bank transactions, and payments. In addition, you assist with management of accounts payable and receivable, balance sheet management, cash management, and the periodic financial closing process. As the company is continuously growing, there will be plenty of room to come up with process improvements and develop yourself into an all-round finance professional. There will be sufficient coaching and (external) training to help you along the way. You will be working with a variety of IT-tools, such as our ERP-system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), reporting add-ons, BI-tools and other operational systems. More specifically, these responsibilities include:

Daily processing of invoices and bank transactions
Preparing weekly payment batches and ad-hoc payments
Management of accounts payable and receivable
Assisting with balance sheet management of various companies within the Titan group
Assisting with periodic financial closing process and providing input for management reporting
Addressing ad-hoc questions from the organization
Contributing to financial improvement projects
Preparing for external audits

Your profile

The position requires a hands-on mentality, you will collaborate closely with all departments, and you are curious and eager to learn. On top of it, you:

Have a relevant bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience (as a jr. controller, accountant or auditor).
Like to work in an international environment, and you are motivated to work in the rapidly growing clean fuel sector that is of vital importance to decarbonize shipping and heavy industries.
Are good in English. Additional languages (such as Dutch, French or Spanish) are an advantage.
Are able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Have good social and communication skills.
Are interested in working with IT systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365). You can learn on the job.
Live and are eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Salary ranging from €2.750 to €3.000 per month, based on experience plus 8% holiday allowance paid monthly.
